The National Securities Commission of the Republic of Panama (Comisión Nacional de Valores de la República de Panamá-CNV), according its legal duty to protect the securities market in Panama, in compliance with regulations of the Decree Law No.1 of July 8th of 1999 and its agreements, warns to the public as follows:
That the company MAJOR BARTER, which is offering investments products and services related to the currency market (FOREX), has not obtained the required registration to lawfully operate in Panama, at the Panamanian Public Registry nor at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
In Panama the FOREX activities does not require authorization or license by this Commission therefore, the CNV warns to the public that any investment in this market is by own risk of the investor, the activities of MAJOR BARTER are not subject to regulation and supervision of the CNV, which can not endorse or guarantee the performance of its operations.
