The Superintendency of the Securities Market of the Republic of Panama (hereinafter the “SMV”), in accordance with its legal duty to strengthen and promote the proper environment for the development of the securities market in the Republic of Panama, in compliance with regulation contained in the Securities Law, makes the following public statement:
– The companies “MAGENTA TRADER”, “MAGENTA TRADER LLC” and/or “MAGENTA TRADER LTD.” are not registered before the Public Registry of Panama, has not been issued any kind of license by the SMV, nor has been authorized to carry on activities of intermediation, administration, or advisory in securities, financial instruments or Forex, in or from the Republic of Panama, within the scope of the Securities Law.
– The SMV has taken note about an announcement in a newspaper by MAGENTA about a seminar, courses, conferences or live classes in Panama, which could be related to activities that required license by the SMV.
It is important for the investors, and for anyone who has access or assists to these courses, conferences or live classes, that to provide, in or from the Republic of Panama, advisory in securities in respect of determining the price of securities or the convenience of investing, purchasing or selling securities or financial instruments or Forex, as well as promoting and opening investment accounts in order to purchase and sell of securities or financial instruments or Forex, referring other companies and/or online trading platforms, must have the respective license issued by the SMV.
